Aiming to cope with the global developments in the field of information technology and telecommunications, Basha Computer Company (one of the leading companies in the field of Information Technology which was founded in 1998) started to provide and sell products of internet services (through the lines of CDMA & GSM with the technology 1X) in Yemen in 2008 as the first company in the Republic Yemen for the purpose of providing its customers with the best mobile internet services in Yemen. In the fourth quarter of 2010 the study and preparation for the Barq Net service was started in collaboration with Yemen Mobile. Basha Computer Company launched Barq Net service January 2011 to be the first and the best and the fastest internet service with the 3rd Generation technology in Yemen.
