VSAT Technology

The technology used by Giganor will be based on Very Small Aperture Terminal (VSAT). Here, we will need a box that will interface between the customer or user's computer and an antenna which is placed outside with a transceiver. This particular transceiver will send signals to a satellite transponder located in the sky. This satellite transponder receives and sends signals from a computer at the earth station which is the core of the system. This VSAT technology is best suited for our company as we intend serve the best quality and service to the customers. This technology aids this intention.

The project offered by Giganor allows satellite Internet access in areas with poor telecommunications infrastructure.
We have several VSAT services available in our offer (KA-band, Ku-band and C-band), and all of them provide high speed and high quality Internet access in Afghanistan.

With Adaptive Coding and Modulation (ACM) on the outbound carrier and iDirect’s patented, deterministic TDMA return channel, Evolution X3 maximizes efficiency of satellite capacity to enable new opportunities for star topology networking.
