Uganda Telecom is a well known Telecommunications Company in Uganda. It's also Uganda’s first Telecommunication operator. They have owned a Full Telecommunications Operator license. They have emerged in the IT area in the 1970’s. Uganda Telecom was incorporated in 1998 as a Public Limited Liability Company. Uganda Telecom Limited (UTL) is Uganda’s national fixed line, mobile as well as Internet provider. LAP GreenN has acquired their shares 69% . The rest is held by Government of Uganda (31%).
Description
Free Net is an option of UTL Dial-up connectivity that can be for free while using it. Free Net Is Free in the sense that there is NO SUBSCRIPTION required (no costs). If you have Uganda Telecom’s landline, you will be able to surf the Internet without having to subscribe to any Internet service provider .Necessities are as follows: Modem (Internal or External), PCMCIA card(laptops), Classic landline, ISDN, Telesaver, Mobile and Computer or laptop. It would be great if you have credit on the Line.
