Access Kenya Group was established in 1995 as Communication Solutions Ltd (Commsol). Now it has more professional name -AccessKenya Limited from 2000. Since that year it became the leading Corporate ISP in Kenya and later the holding company AccessKenya Group in 2006. Their mission is grow their power and become more global. AccessKenya has the idea to introduced new connectivity option for its customers called WiMAX network. It has been operated since 2008. The Alvarion WiMAX network is built to the highest international standards (i.e. backup, clean power provision as well as redundant equipment. AccessKenya operates closely with Alvarion on continual development of the network and also upgrades that will let them help to provide more & better services to their customers.
