Vivo also offers direct access to the Internet through data cards, as well as multimedia message and roaming services. Moreover, it sells GSM and WCDMA devices, such as handsets, smartphones, broadband USB modems, and netbooks through its stores and authorized dealers. As of July 2010, Vivo had 4.6mn 3G subscribers and the firm expects its 3G network to reach 2,800 cities and municipalities, or 85% of the country's population, by end-2011
