NET Servicos is Brazilian multiservice provider, formerly Globo Cabo, offers integrated services including pay TV (branded as Net), digital video (Net Digital), HD digital video (Net Digital HD), high definition DVR (Net Digital HD Max), bi-directional broadband internet access (Net Virtua) and voice (Net Fone). Net Serviços has a client base of some 3.7mn pay TV subscribers and 2.9mn broadband internet subscribers, and its network covers about 10.8mn homes over a network extension of some 61,000km. Latin American telecoms giant America Movil, through Telmex, holds a controlling stake in the company. Net was founded in 1991 and is headquartered in São Paulo.
