Availability in Tulum, Quintana Roo I live in an off-grid community. NO wired or cable connections. We all use solar for our electricity needs and have cisterns for our water. Wireless internet is all that is available and speeds are 1) Not high speed (3-5 Mb); 2) Rarely delivers the speeds paid for and, 3) loss of signal is common. If Megacable - 20 Mbps Nitro internet and more is available to us, there is a very good chance that more of my neighbors would transfer to your company rather than stick with what we have. |
Accessibility Resource Hi, I wanted to reach out to you because I noticed you included some insightful information about internet service providers on your page here: https://isp.today/ Our team created a comprehensive guide highlighting research on the digital divide and accessibility on choosing an internet provider. I have included it below and thought you may be interested in reading more about it. Allconnect - Can You Choose Your Internet Provider: https://www.allconnect.com/blog/can-you-really-choose-your-internet-provider With millions of people working and learning from home during the pandemic, internet access has become an increasingly vital part of every household. Despite its necessity, there is less internet availability throughout low-density and rural areas and the provider prices are often out of reach for low-income households. Due to these difficulties, we wanted to provide more information for those who were researching internet provider accessibility. Our guide includes: Considerations on Internet Service Providers While Moving The Digital Divide and Provider Monopolies Emerging Technologies to Close the Digital Divide Would you consider adding our resource to your page that I listed above or another page of your choosing? Thank you again, I look forward to hearing from you! Gratefully, Jess Hunt |

Internet Service for Tagaytay, Philippines We have a house at The Lincoln Place Log Cabin Woodsbough, Asian, Tagaytay, Philippines. We were using Globe Internet Service who have been renting tower sites in Cavity City in the Philippines but may have lost their contract as the wifi has stopped after months of service. They have been providing the Internet through our Globe Land line router and antenna for just two months with no problem then suddenly it just stopped. The service tech came out to our house with no problem on our end. They said it must be at the tower used by Globe. Globe said that their tower doesn't serve our area in Tagaytay as it is out of range. That is strange as it was working up to seven days ago with no problems. So this must mean they are lying and or lost their Internet cell location they were renting. So we here in The Lincoln Place of Tagaytay Philippines would like to know what you have to offer as to Internet Service and pricing. We have even a business man consultant who wants to do business from his home instead of driving a long distance and renting a office. Please contact me so I may let those living around me Internet Service options. |
