internet options in Krachon Thailand
Dear sirs, I have a house in Krachon Thailand (about 30 km of Phimai, Nakhon Ratchasima). I am inquiring about options for "good" internet over there. I want to use my laptop when i am visiting my girlfriend there and at the moment we have internet but very slow and most of the time it is not working at all. What are the options in Krachon to provide me with internet which is reasonable fast (so I can use my laptop, skype with my family in the Netherlands, play some games on the laptop, mostly facebook games). Do I need a satelite disk? if so, which one? And what are the costs for having a reasonable fast internet connection in Krachon? Are there other options like a 4G router? Can you provide me with the answers to these questions.

Re: Reliable Internet
Hi, I live in Bangkok, Thailand and I have used most of the main ISP's and I've yet to be satisfied with any of them reliable. If I visit a website that is not hosted in Thailand, or I am streaming sports or a movie online, I am constantly getting breaks in the connection. The fact all of my internet activity is on sites hosted outside of Thailand means I experience connectivity issues multiple times per day which is extremely frustrating. I came across your company and I was wondering if Quantis have a service I could use that would give me a stable and reliable connection? Thanks in advance for your response. Regards, Paul

AIS Fibre subscription one year
Starting October 3rd, I come to live in thailand (I have a condo on Jomtien Beach Road) I am interested in a good internet provider and people told me that AIS is good. I have two questions: 1. What documents do I need to bring with when applying ? 2. VERY IMPORTANT: I need 2 ports to be opened (port forwarding) for 2 applications. In Belgium my provider opened them. I want to be sure that the technician, when installing modem etc, OPENS the two ports (not sure if they are closed in thailand port 64151/tcp and 50500/tcp). Those two things is the only reason I want to pay for a fibre subscription. Please aknowledge. Thank you, Ron
