request for internet to cover the area of Khartoum - Sudan
Dear Sir/Mam, If you have been following the recent news from Sudan. In the past 6 months, the people of Sudan started a revolution against the dictator presidnet Omer Elbashir. This has lead to his arrest on April 11th and the formation of a transitional militiary council (TMC). Since then, the people of Sudan are calling for a civilian goverment and they arranged a major sit-in near the military head quarter asking for their rights to have a civilian goverment. Yesterady, in spite of all the peacful protest, the TMC decided to violently attack the protestors and disperse their sit-in. This incident lead to the kiling of more than 40 and injury of more than 450 persons. The force that has been used against the peaceful protestors has even extended to include raping females, throwing people in the river and burning children who were sleeping inside tents within the sit-in. It was a real tragedy!! All these violations have been documented by videos and pictures. The TMC also has disconnected the internet from all Sudan to isolate the people of sudan and to practice more human rights violations and killing of more pepole. we are a group of Sudanese physicians and would like to provide internet to our Sudanese people which will help them in communicating the documented and any expected human rights violaions that could happen. It is also necessary for the sudanese outside Sudan to make sure that their families and loved ones are safe and alive. Please we urge you to respond to this email ASAP and we would like to know if you have the services that we need and what could be the monthly price to cover such big area. and how will it work so as eveybody in sudan can access it easily via their phones. Regards Sudanese American Physician Association (SAPA)
