The Gonzales Garden Club recently recognized outstanding residential and commercial landscaping in the city. One of the recipients of this recognition was Natasha Henderson’s garden on South Park Avenue. Henderson’s garden features beautiful beds with borders of dwarf golden spirea bushes, complemented by vibrant yellow and orange marigolds, dianella, and Mexican heather. The background is adorned with evergreen hedges. Henderson and her husband, Anthony, made strategic choices of plants that are able to withstand the hot weather in Gonzales.

In addition to residential landscaping, the Gonzales Garden Club also acknowledged the efforts of REV Telecommunications Provider, located at 913 S. Burnside Ave., for their exceptional commercial landscape. The business boasts multiple flower beds that significantly enhance its curb appeal. Some of the plants found in these beds include borders of dianella, clusters of knockout roses, azalea bushes, agapanthus, variegated ginger, and crepe myrtles.
