Space Operations Command Seeks Proposals for 0 Million Satellite Control Network Contract

Space Operations Command’s Space Acquisition and Integration Office has started the process of soliciting proposals for a potential 10-year, 0 million small business set-aside indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract. This contract, known as STORMS, will provide support services for the satellite control network (SCN) to Space Delta 6 within SpOC.

The SCN consists of radio frequency antennas, signal processing and routing communications equipment, and computer systems. These components are responsible for providing telemetry, tracking and commanding, and payload support to operational space vehicles.

According to the notice posted on SAM.gov, the STORMS contract vehicle will offer operations and organizational-level maintenance, remote site support, and mission partner support services for the SCN.

SpOC plans to award the contract and initial task order on March 18, 2024. The indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract has a base period of five years with an additional five option years. The first task order includes a 60-day phase-in period, a 12-month base period, and four option periods.

Proposals in response to this solicitation are due by November 27.
