The governments of Canada and Ontario have announced a joint investment of more than .1 million to provide reliable high-speed internet to 1,915 families, farms, and businesses in Essex County. This initiative is in partnership with Southwestern Integrated Fibre Technology (SWIFT) Inc.

Residents in the communities of Marentette Beach, Lighthouse Cove, and Stoney Point will now have access to broadband infrastructure that enables high-speed internet service.
