Tech giants like Amazon, Best Buy, Google, LG Electronics, Logitech, and Samsung Electronics have already pledged their support for the U.S. Cyber Trust Mark. The mark will appear as a distinct shield logo on approved products, encouraging other device makers to follow suit. With more players involved, there will be increased awareness around cybersecurity issues, greater innovation, and a more sophisticated ecosystem.

The U.S. Cyber Trust Mark is not only crucial for security but also for customer retention and profits. A study by McKinsey reveals that while 60% of customers consider trust essential, only 30% of IoT providers prioritize it. By demonstrating their dedication to security through certification, device makers can build trust, improve user retention, and ultimately increase profits.
