Government Announces Transfers and Postings of Officers

The federal government of Pakistan has recently implemented a significant reshuffle in the bureaucracy, notifying transfers and postings of secretaries and high-ranking officers in various ministries and departments.

Notable changes include the transfer of Kamran Ali Afzal, a BS-22 officer of the Pakistan Administrative Service (PAS), from his position as the director general of Civil Services Academy in Lahore to the secretary of the Cabinet Division. Sajid Baloch, another BS-21 officer of PAS, was moved from the additional secretary role in the Cabinet Division to the special secretary of the same division.

Muhammad Abdullah Khan Sumbal, a BS-21 officer of PAS, was transferred from the position of additional secretary (in charge) in the Science and Technology Division to the Interior Division. Hasan Nasir Jamy, a BS-22 officer of PAS, was moved from being the secretary of the Water Resources Division to the secretary of the Information Technology and Telecommunication Division.

Other changes involve the transfer of officers like Momin Agha, Capt (retd) Muhammad Mahmood, Dr Shahzad Khan Bangash, Syed Asif Hyder Shah, Allah Dino Khawaja, Humaira Ahmad, Syed Ali Murtaza, Dr Muhammad Fakhre Alam Irfan, Dawood Muhammad Bareach, Shakeel Qadir Khan, Capt (retd) Muhammad Anwarul Haq, Ali Raza Bhutta, Sarah Saeed, Eazaz Aslam Dar, Navid Ahmed Shaikh, Musaddiq Ahmed Khan, Dr Muhammad Sohail Rajput, Muhammad Usman Chachar, Abdul Aziz Uqaili, Yawar Hussain, Capt (retd) Noorul Amin Mengal, Mustafa Kamal Kazi, Dr Iram Anjum Khan, Fareena Mazhar, and Abdul Ghufran Memon.
