The GTA Online Halloween 2023 event is coming to an end, but players still have time to encounter some exciting elements in the game’s open world. One of the highlights of this event is the introduction of Possessed Animals. These seasonal random events are part of the San Andreas Mercenaries drip-feed content and offer a unique experience separate from other Halloween-themed activities.

Possessed Animals can be found roaming the streets of Los Santos and Blaine County. These animals have turned black and are covered in blood and wounds, making them a formidable and eerie sight. In order to encounter these vicious creatures, players need to know their spawn locations.

There are five different types of Possessed Animals in GTA Online: Pug (Dog), Coyote, Deer, Boar, and Cougar. Each type can be found in specific locations on the map. For example, Pugs can be found near Mount Zonah Medical Center, Rockford Hills, and Harmony Plaza, while Coyotes can be found at Murrieta Oil Field, Great Chaparral, and Tongva Hills.

To increase the chances of encountering Possessed Animals, players need to meet certain conditions. They must be in Free Roam mode, have been in the session for at least 16 minutes, be on foot (not inside a vehicle), and be near the predetermined spawn locations. Possessed Animals typically appear between 8 pm and 1 am in any multiplayer session.

With the GTA Online Halloween 2023 event offering such diverse content, players can continue to enjoy the game without worrying about the release of Grand Theft Auto 6 anytime soon.
