Xiaomi is reportedly working on two new smartphones, the Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Pro, for the Chinese market. These models are expected to be launched in November of this year. Additionally, there are rumors about a special edition variant of the Xiaomi 14 Pro.

According to Chinese tipster Digital Chat Station, the Xiaomi 14 Pro’s special edition variant will feature a nano-ceramic glass cover, a titanium alloy middle frame, and a ceramic rear panel. The device is also said to support satellite communication technology. It will be powered by the SM8650 chip, which is the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC.

Previous leaks suggest that the Xiaomi 14 Pro will come with a 5,000mAh battery and will support 120W fast charging and 50W wireless charging. In terms of storage and RAM, it is speculated that the device could offer 24 GB of LPDDR5x RAM and 1 TB of UFS 4.0 storage, making it a flagship phone in the Chinese market.

The camera setup on the Xiaomi 14 Pro is expected to include a 50-megapixel Sony IMX989 primary camera, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 50-megapixel periscope zoom camera. The phone is also rumored to ship with MIUI 15-based Android 14.
