SpaceX to Launch Another Batch of Starlink Satellites

SpaceX is preparing for the launch of a new batch of Starlink satellites from Cape Canaveral. The scheduled launch is set for Wednesday night at 8:14 p.m. ET from Space Launch Complex 40 at the Cape Canaveral Space Force Station. In case of any delays, there are four additional opportunities for launch on Wednesday, from 9:07 p.m. ET until 12 a.m. ET, and four backup opportunities on Thursday, from 7:49 p.m. ET until 11:11 p.m. ET.

The 45th Weather Squadron has forecasted a 20% chance of favorable weather for the launch, with concerns regarding anvil clouds, surface electric fields, and cumulus clouds.

This mission will mark the 13th flight for the first-stage booster, B1067-13, which has previously supported four Starlink missions. After stage separation, the first stage will attempt its landing on the A Shortfall of Gravitas droneship in the Atlantic Ocean.

The Starlink Group 6-10 mission aims to deploy 22 Starlink satellites to low-Earth orbit. These satellites will join the thousands that are already providing internet services across the world. According to astronomer Dr. Jonathan McDowell, there are currently 4,597 Starlink satellites in orbit, with 4,566 in working order and 3,854 in operational orbit.

If you are interested in watching the launch, you can find the live stream on SpaceX’s official YouTube channel.
