BrightRock Gold Corp Reveals Findings of Satellite Image Interpretation for Midnight Owl Project

BrightRock Gold Corp. has shared the analysis report on high-resolution satellite images conducted by Dirt Exploration for its Midnight Owl Project in the White Picacho Pegmatite District, Arizona. The project, focused on lithium pegmatite exploration, benefits from its location with historic lithium mining, numerous pegmatite dike outcrops, and proximity to three gigafactories. The project encompasses 4000 acres of land under complete ownership.

Dirt Exploration’s spectral correlation analysis, displayed in Figure 1, demonstrates the potential presence of lithium minerals on the project’s surface. The warmer colors indicate a strong correlation between the spectral reflectance captured by satellite imagery and potential lithium minerals.

Stantec Consulting Services Inc. produced Figure 2, which shows the surface geologic interpretation based on aerial imagery and historical documents. Dirt Exploration’s analysis aligns with Stantec’s map, highlighting Pre-Cambrian metasedimentary wall rocks and pegmatite dikes as the main lithium exploration targets.

Figure 3 maps the distribution of pegmatite dikes within the White Picacho Pegmatite District, as interpreted by Stantec. This information, combined with the hyperspectral analysis and initial geologic interpretation, will guide the development of an extensive targeted outcrop sampling program.

The analysis conducted by Dirt Exploration utilized Long-Wave Infrared (LWIR), Visible Near Infrared (VNIR), Short-Wave Infrared (SWIR), and Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) imagery. The LWIR analysis, in particular, can identify mineral distribution over large areas through reflectance spectroscopy.

BrightRock Gold Corp. anticipates that the results from SpecTIR’s fixed-wing hyperspectral flight will further enhance dirt Exploration’s satellite-based analysis.

BrightRock Gold Corp. is a lithium exploration company with its flagship project, the Midnight Owl Mine, located near Wickenburg, Arizona. The company aims to become a major supplier of lithium-based products by developing its portfolio of lithium-rich assets.
