Tillman FiberCo and Northleaf Capital Partners Announce Strategic Partnership

Tillman FiberCo and Northleaf Capital Partners have recently formed a strategic partnership. The initial investment from Northleaf, totaling 0 million, with the potential for an additional 0 million, will assist in the expansion of Tillman FiberCo’s operations. This investment will allow Tillman FiberCo to accelerate the development of its open access network, utilizing advanced technologies and a next-generation network architecture. The result will be the delivery of high-speed internet access to both residential and business customers, offering industry-leading symmetrical gigabit broadband internet access service speeds.

Tillman FiberCo, established in 2021 in New York, specializes in designing, building, and owning high-speed internet infrastructure. Their aim is to become a major provider of network access on a wholesale basis to enterprises and wholesale customers across various industries. As part of the Tillman Global Holdings portfolio, which focuses on investing in and operating telecommunications and energy infrastructure businesses, Tillman FiberCo is set to become a market leader in the field.

Financial advisory services for Northleaf were provided by TD Securities, while Kirkland & Ellis acted as legal counsel. TAP Advisors served as the financial advisor for Tillman FiberCo, with Sullivan & Cromwell providing legal counsel.

The Managing Director at Northleaf, Chris Rigobon, expressed his excitement regarding the partnership. Rigobon praised the industry relationships and operational expertise of Tillman Global Holdings and the Tillman FiberCo management team. Northleaf believes that Tillman FiberCo’s wholesale business model, supported by a substantial customer order, will provide long-term revenue stability for investors.

Tillman FiberCo’s CEO, Ken Dixon, expressed his confidence in the partnership, stating that the support of a global investor like Northleaf validates their business model and highlights the market opportunity they have. Dixon believes that Northleaf’s infrastructure experience and extensive resources will accelerate their growth and ensure top-quality service for their customers.
