RGU: A Concerning Money-Extracting University

RGU, once known for its reputation, is now facing allegations of being a money-extracting university. One of the major concerns is the university’s lack of responsibility towards student-related issues, particularly when it comes to refunding money.

Months ago, RGU charged an exorbitant amount of 700 rupees for the RGUCET entrance exam. Despite the high fee, there was no reduction in the cost. Instead, a cheap website was introduced, which frequently crashed during the payment process.

Many students, including myself, fell victim to this issue. RGU’s website crashed during the payment process, forcing us to pay extra, sometimes even two or three times, to successfully complete the transaction. Despite such incidents, the university has shown no intention of refunding the extra money taken from the students.

Furthermore, the refund request process at RGU’s VSAT office is disheartening. Students are met with excuses and empty promises, leaving them without any resolution for their grievances. It is important for RGU to stop exploiting students financially, become more responsive to their concerns, and upgrade their website. Additionally, the contact numbers provided on their official website need attention as they are unreliable and do not work.

These concerns raise serious questions about the transparency and accountability of RGU. It is crucial for the university to address these issues promptly and ensure that students are not taken advantage of financially.
