North Korea to Launch Satellite in the Direction of Yellow Sea and East China Sea

North Korea has announced its plan to launch a satellite sometime between August 24 and 31, according to the Japanese Coast Guard. The country intends to launch the satellite in the direction of the Yellow Sea and East China Sea.

To address the situation, Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida has urged relevant ministries to collaborate in gathering information. He also affirmed that Japan will work together with South Korea and the United States to respond to this matter.

This announcement follows North Korea’s previous satellite launch on May 31, which ended with the satellite falling into the sea.

As the situation unfolds, further updates are expected.
