Renowned Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo suggests that Apple is not currently working on a successor to the recently released Apple Watch Ultra 2. He claims that if development does not commence before December, it could be an indication that the next-generation ‘Apple Watch Ultra 3’ will not be launched in 2024.

In a post on Medium, Kuo explains that the lack of official development for the Apple Watch Ultra 3 is uncommon, given Apple’s typical product development schedule. He speculates that Apple may require additional time to develop innovative health management features, ensure the manufacturability of new features, and address issues related to Micro LED production.

According to Kuo, “If Apple doesn’t officially kick off the Apple Watch Ultra 3 project by December, it’s almost confirmed that we won’t see a new Apple Watch Ultra in 2024.”
