The Main Scoop, an ice cream company known for its parlors in Mahomet and Monticello, is set to open a new location on Urbana’s Main Street this fall. The new ice cream shop will be situated at 133 W Main, next to Bohemia and across from Sakura Japanese restaurant and Rick’s Bakery.

Established in 2021 in Mahomet, The Main Scoop later expanded to Monticello during the summer. The company offers a wide range of ice cream flavors, including dairy-free options. Their menu includes ice cream flights, cones, bowls with toppings, ice cream cakes, and pints to-go.
