One person was taken to a hospital with life-saving measures in progress on Saturday night following a shooting incident in North Omaha. Police were called to the area of 37th Street and Himebaugh Avenue after receiving reports of numerous shots fired at around 9:45 p.m.

Upon arrival, officers discovered one individual with gunshot wounds. The injured person was immediately transported to the Nebraska Medical Center by ambulance, with CPR being performed en route.

Authorities are urging anyone with information about the incident to contact the OPD Homicide Unit at 402-444-5656. Alternatively, individuals can provide anonymous tips to Omaha Crime Stoppers by calling 402-444-STOP, visiting www.omahacrimestoppers.org, or using the P3 Tips mobile app. Tipsters may be eligible for a ,000 cash reward if their information leads to an arrest in connection with the shooting.
