Agritech Platform Arya.ag Partners with The Soyabean Processors Association of India for Crop Monitoring

Agritech platform Arya.ag has announced a partnership with The Soyabean Processors Association of India (SOPA) for soyabean crop monitoring. The collaboration will utilize Arya.ag’s satellite surveillance product, Prakshep, and artificial intelligence product, VaMa, to monitor soyabean crops across 51 districts in Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, and Rajasthan.

Under the memorandum of understanding (MoU), SOPA will receive dynamic information, rich datasets, maps, and data-enriched secure APIs for its subscribed districts. Arya.ag’s technology will enable SOPA to remotely scout the districts, detect anomalies, and track farm growth through a user-friendly web and mobile application.

The partnership aims to leverage deep-tech capabilities for real-time monitoring of the soyabean crop. The combination of Arya.ag’s satellite surveillance product and artificial intelligence will empower SOPA to make informed decisions to strengthen the soyabean value chain.

“SOPA recognizes the transformative potential of Arya.ag’s technology to drive efficiency and sustainability in agriculture. This collaboration promises to enhance crop productivity, optimize resource utilization, and foster sustainable practices across the soyabean value chain,” said DN Pathak, Executive Director of SOPA.

Through Arya.ag’s Prakshep and VaMa solutions, SOPA aims to enhance crop yields, facilitate data-driven decision-making, and promote sustainable agricultural practices. The partnership will add value to SOPA’s crop surveillance report and enable them to make data-informed decisions.

This collaboration between Arya.ag and SOPA highlights the importance of technology in agriculture and its potential to revolutionize the industry. By utilizing satellite surveillance and artificial intelligence, they aim to improve crop monitoring and drive sustainable practices for soyabean farming in India.
