Aarti Holla-Maini, with her accomplished career spanning 25 years, has become a distinguished expert in the field of satellites, space, and telecommunications. Her pioneering contributions have significantly advanced space science and technology.

In June of this year, Aarti took on the role of Director of the United Nations Office for Outer Space Affairs (UNOOSA) in Vienna after succeeding Simonetta Di Pippo. As the new Director, she is poised to lead the organization toward closer collaboration in space.

Her tenure as Executive Vice-President for Sustainability, Policy & Impact at NorthStar Earth & Space showcased her commitment to sustainable practices. She has made a significant impact through her involvement in establishing the Crisis Connectivity Charter, a crucial framework for emergency telecommunications via satellite. With her educational background in law and business administration, Aarti’s legal acumen and innovative spirit have made her an aerospace industry leader. Fluent in multiple languages, including English, French, German, and Punjabi, she is able to collaborate effectively on a global scale. Her expertise as an Expert Advisor for European Union studies further showcases her deep understanding of space traffic management.
