Zack Snyder made an appearance at gamescom Opening Night Live to unveil the first trailer for his upcoming sci-fi film, Rebel Moon, which will be released on Netflix. Part 1 of the Rebel Moon saga is set to premiere on December 22, 2023, while Part 2 is scheduled for release on April 19, 2024.

Snyder and Netflix are reportedly investing heavily in Rebel Moon, with talks of potential feature follow-ups and a television series in addition to the two announced movies. A director’s cut for both parts of Rebel Moon has also been confirmed by Snyder’s wife and co-producer, promising an enhanced viewing experience for fans.

Although the trailer did not showcase any footage of the video game adaptation, Snyder previously mentioned that Rebel Moon will be receiving a game adaptation on a grand scale. Originally envisioned as a Star Wars film, Snyder has transformed Rebel Moon into an original concept, leaving fans curious about his creative vision for the project.
