The 5G-enabled OnePlus Nord N30 mid-range smartphone has previously been sold at discounted prices by both its manufacturer and third-party retailers like Amazon and Best Buy. However, customers had to navigate through various requirements and promotions to enjoy these savings. Now, the unlocked 128GB storage variant of the 6.72-inch phone is available at a discounted price with no strings attached at both Amazon and Best Buy.

While the price cut may not be significant, it offers an opportunity to enhance the value proposition of the already reasonably priced Nord N30 5G, normally priced at 9.99. In comparison to Samsung’s Galaxy A54 5G, which is still more expensive even after a Prime-exclusive discount, the OnePlus Nord N30 5G features a larger display, two additional gigabytes of memory, faster charging capabilities, and an impressive 108MP primary rear-facing camera.

It should be noted that the two secondary cameras on the back of the Nord N30 are not particularly useful. Additionally, despite offering a generous screen size, the OnePlus mid-ranger does not have a larger battery. Nevertheless, the combination of a 5,000mAh cell, an energy-efficient Snapdragon 695 processor, and the latest Android 13 OS version creates a compelling smartphone experience.

While the OnePlus Nord N30 5G runs Android 13, the Galaxy A54 5G is expected to receive future Android 14 updates and more frequent software updates in the long run.
