Kordia Partners with Netlinkz to Bring High-Speed Satellite Communication to Customers

Kordia, a digital services company, has recently announced a partnership with Netlinkz, a global distributor for Starlink. The objective of this partnership is to provide business-grade, high-speed, and low-latency satellite communication services to Kordia’s customers.

Through this agreement, Kordia customers will have access to Starlink terminals, installation services, first-level support, reporting, and billing services. Additionally, they will be able to utilize Netlinkz Starlink services and support through the Kordia network.

The partnership, announced on October 26th, 2023, will offer an improved solution for Kordia’s existing managed WAN services. It will enhance rural coverage and provide better communication options for remote sites.

Murray Goodman, the Head of Product at Kordia, expressed excitement about the new offering. He highlighted the significance of the additional access options, particularly in unforeseen circumstances like extreme weather conditions. Goodman stated that the inclusion of Starlink in addition to other connectivity options will provide Kordia customers with unmatched coverage and failover options, ensuring reliable and diverse business-grade access.

James Tsiolis, the CEO at Netlinkz, also expressed enthusiasm about the alliance. He commended Kordia’s commitment to providing resilient communications and emphasized the opportunity to bring the benefits of Netlinkz Starlink to Kordia’s network.

The partnership will not only offer comprehensive solutions to businesses but also provide priority support and in-country spares for rapid restoration in the event of disruptions. Kordia will provide fixed, mobile, and maritime plans as part of the agreement, with professional installation options included.

Looking ahead, Goodman sees the improved connectivity as a catalyst for innovation, particularly in the agriculture and primary industries. The Netlinkz Starlink service will enable primary access in regions without existing infrastructure, offering high-speed diversity and failover options.

Furthermore, Goodman mentioned ongoing discussions regarding maritime operations, exploring connections for ships and ferries. This partnership offers flexibility for short-term emergency situations and events, as well as failover options for critical sites when other services are not available.

The advantage of Kordia’s Netlinkz Starlink Business service lies in its superior antenna technology, prioritized data, and the management support provided by Kordia and Netlinkz. This distinguishes it from the residential service web-based support model.
