Regarding the recent change in ownership requirements for multinational firms, Airtel Kenya welcomes the development as it encourages more investment in the country’s ICT sector. The introduction of 5G network by Airtel Kenya has received a positive response. The company plans to expand its network and expects more subscribers in the coming months, especially as the cost of 5G-enabled devices decreases.

While challenges exist, such as the need for device prices to come down and effective communication with customers, Airtel Kenya remains optimistic about the future and the potential of the telecommunications industry in Kenya.
