TIME Dotcom Bhd announced a significant increase in net profit for the second quarter ended June 30, 2023. The company’s net profit rose to RM2.264 billion, compared to RM118.28 million in the same quarter last year. This boost in profit can be attributed to proceeds gained from the discontinued operations of AIMS Data Centre business.

The telecommunication group also reported a marginal increase in revenue, which reached RM389.200 million, up from RM351.44 million in the previous year. TIME Dotcom Bhd expressed satisfaction with its performance in the first half of 2023, emphasizing the positive impact of its strategic decisions.

Commander-in-chief Afzal Abdul Rahim stated that the group remains vigilant and continues to monitor external conditions that may affect the business. Despite the success, the company recognizes the importance of being mindful of operational and external challenges.

To sustain its performance, TIME Dotcom Bhd plans to invest in its network, focusing on expanding coverage and improving operational excellence. This investment aims to ensure high network reliability, availability, and security, thereby enhancing the customer experience.

Additionally, the group continuously refines its strategies to capitalize on opportunities and strengthen its position across its retail, enterprise, and wholesale customer segments. Risk mitigation and cost management initiatives are also implemented to ensure sustainability.

TIME Dotcom Bhd has declared a single-tier dividend of 16.25 sen per ordinary share, scheduled to be paid on September 15, 2023. These results reflect the company’s confidence in its future prospects and commitment to delivering value to its shareholders.
