Motorola is gearing up to launch the Moto G84 5G smartphone in India next month. Although an official launch date has not been confirmed, tipster Mukul Sharma has revealed that the phone will feature a 120Hz refresh rate display along with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of onboard storage. The Moto G84 5G is expected to be a close sibling of the Moto G82 5G from last year and this year’s Moto G73.

According to Sharma, the Moto G84 5G will be available in a Viva Magenta color option with a vegan leather finish. The device is also rumored to sport a 10-bit pOLED display and a hole-punch design. An alleged render of the handset has been leaked, aligning with previous leaks.

The Moto G84 5G will succeed the Moto G82 5G and Moto G73 5G. The Moto G82 5G featured an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 SoC and a triple rear camera setup, while the Moto G73 5G ran on an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 930 SoC and had a 50-megapixel dual rear camera setup.

The Moto G82 5G was launched in June 2020 with a starting price of Rs. 21,499 for the base variant, while the Moto G73 5G arrived in March 2021 with a starting price of Rs. 18,999.
