Chunghwa Telecom held its second quarter 2023 results conference call on August 8, 2023, at 3:00 P.M. (Taipei Time). The call was led by Angela Tsai, Director of Investor Relations, with Harrison Kuo, Chairman and CEO; Ivan Lin, President; and Vincent Chen, Chief Financial Officer also in attendance.

In terms of mobile services, Chunghwa Telecom experienced a noteworthy increase in revenue share in Taiwan’s mobile market. Their revenue share grew from 39.2% to 39.9% on a year-over-year basis and saw a quarter-over-quarter growth from 39.7%. Subscriber share also increased to 37.0% from 36.3% compared to the previous year. The company’s post-paid ARPU (average revenue per user) reported a 4% year-over-year increase and continued growth for nine consecutive quarters.
