iQOO Z7 Pro 5G: A Closer Look at the Camera

The iQOO Z7 Pro 5G, launched by iQOO in March, is set to have a Pro model released on August 31. This smartphone is equipped with impressive camera features, making it an appealing choice for photography enthusiasts.

The iQOO Z7 Pro 5G is powered by the Dimensity 7200 SoC and boasts a triple camera setup. The primary camera is a 64MP sensor provided by Samsung, featuring optical image stabilization (OIS) and electronic image stabilization (EIS). The 2MP depth sensor and 16MP selfie camera complete the camera module.

The primary camera utilizes the Samsung ISOCELL GW3 sensor, offering superb image quality with its f/1.79 aperture. The depth sensor, with its f/2.4 aperture, enhances the bokeh effect in portrait shots. The selfie camera, equipped with the Samsung S5K3P9SP04-FGX9 sensor, provides crisp and detailed self-portraits, aided by the f/2.45 aperture.

Video recording capabilities are also notable on the iQOO Z7 Pro 5G. The selfie camera supports video recording at resolutions of 720p and 1080p, while the primary camera can capture videos in up to 4K resolution at 30 FPS or 1080p at 60 FPS.

The iQOO Z7 Pro 5G promotes its 64MP primary camera as the “64MP Aura Light OIS Camera,” which is accompanied by a circular flash ring called Aura Light by iQOO. This feature aims to provide enhanced lighting conditions for photography in various settings.

To provide users with a glimpse of the camera’s performance, we managed to capture some quick photos and videos with the Blue Lagoon version of the iQOO Z7 Pro 5G in Goa, India.

During daylight, the 16MP mode of the primary camera produced impressive photos, while the 64MP mode offered more detailed shots.

When capturing low-light scenes, both the 16MP and 64MP modes of the primary camera demonstrated their capabilities, providing clarity and well-exposed imagery.

For video enthusiasts, the iQOO Z7 Pro 5G delivers high-quality recordings. We have included a sample video recorded in 1080p resolution at 30 FPS, as well as another video recorded in 4K resolution at 30 FPS.

While we are unable to provide an in-depth analysis of the camera’s quality without conducting our comprehensive tests, we invite you to share your thoughts on the photos and videos in the comments below.
