Less than a week after leaving her position at Mynaric, Tina Ghataore has landed a new role in the satellite industry. She has been appointed as the new group chief strategy and revenue officer of Aerospacelab, as well as the CEO of Aerospace’s new North American branch. The appointment was announced on August 7th.

Aerospacelab is an international startup based in Belgium, specializing in the design, manufacturing, and operation of small satellites. The company offers a versatile satellite platform that provides customers with access to space and geospatial intelligence, offering proprietary high-resolution satellite data. Their goal is to create an optimized and cost-efficient way to reach space.

According to Benoit Deper, CEO and founder of Aerospacelab, Tina Ghataore is the perfect fit for the company. “We share a vision and direction of this ever-growing satellite market,” he said. “With Tina’s expertise and experience, we will be able to make our ambitious plans a reality. She will be an invaluable asset as we continue to grow and position ourselves in the industry.”

In addition to her new role at Aerospacelab, Ghataore was named Satellite Executive of the Year for 2021 by Via Satellite. Prior to joining Mynaric in 2020, she has held various roles with companies such as Boeing, Yahsat, Panasonic, and the Ekkam Group.

With her impressive background and industry recognition, Ghataore is poised to make significant contributions to Aerospacelab’s growth and success in the satellite industry.
