SpaceX to Launch 21 Starlink Satellites from California Base

SpaceX, the space exploration company founded by Elon Musk, is planning to launch its Falcon 9 rocket carrying 21 Starlink satellites from the Space Launch Complex 4E Vandenberg Space Force Base in California. The launch is scheduled for Monday night at 11:04 p.m. PT.

The Falcon 9 rocket will send the satellites to low-Earth orbit. This is the 15th flight for the Falcon 9 booster. After separation, the first stage booster will land on the “Of Course I Still Love You” drone ship in the Pacific Ocean.

Starlink satellites provide internet services to many countries around the world. They orbit Earth at a closer distance compared to other internet satellites, resulting in a faster internet experience for users.

For those interested in watching the launch, a livestream will begin approximately five minutes before liftoff. The livestream can be viewed at the top of the page or on SpaceX’s YouTube channel.

In case of any delays or issues, SpaceX has backup launch dates and times scheduled. These include a window from 11:54 p.m. PT on Monday until 2:26 a.m. PT on Tuesday, as well as backup dates from 10:42 p.m. PT on Tuesday until 2:05 a.m. PT on Wednesday.
