SpaceX Plans Launch of Falcon 9 Rocket for Starlink Mission

SpaceX is preparing to launch a Falcon 9 rocket from the Space Coast for its latest batch of Starlink satellites. The exact launch time is currently unknown. The Starlink 6-11 mission is expected to take place from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, although some reports suggest a late Wednesday night launch.

The Starlink satellites are part of a network that provides global internet access. The 45th Space Wing, responsible for weather forecasts for launches in the area, has issued a forecast for the Starlink mission, which predicts a 10% chance of weather affecting the launch. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has also published several notices for the mission on its NOTAM site, starting from Wednesday night.

SpaceX has not officially announced any launch information on its website or social media platforms, as it typically waits until after a static fire test is conducted. However, another SpaceX launch is scheduled for Friday at 3:49 a.m. from Kennedy Space Center. This Crew-7 mission will send a team to the International Space Station, commanded by NASA astronaut Jasmin Moghbeli.

While it is not uncommon for SpaceX to plan multiple launches within a short period, it is possible that one of the missions may be delayed or canceled. News 6 and ClickOrlando.com will be providing live streams of these launches whenever they take place.
