Oppo Launches Reno 10 5G with Impressive Camera and Features
Oppo has introduced the latest addition to its mid-range Reno line, the Oppo Reno 10 5G. Priced at £399, the smartphone features a 32-megapixel telephoto portrait camera, which the company claims is an industry-first. The phone boasts the Sony IMX709 RGBW sensor with 2x optical zoom, providing users with the ability to capture ultra-clear portraits with a 47mm portrait focal length.
In addition to the innovative camera, the Oppo Reno 10 5G offers a 120Hz 6.7-inch display with a near-edge-to-edge design, resulting in a 93% screen-to-body ratio. The phone is HDR 10+ certified and has a peak brightness of 950 nits.
Powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7050 5G mobile platform, the Reno 10 5G can be equipped with up to 8GB of RAM, expandable to 16GB using Oppo’s RAM expansion technology. The device also features a 5,000mAh battery with fast charging capabilities, reaching full charge in just 47 minutes with the 67W SuperVooc Flash Charge wired charging tech. The phone has a 3D curved design, measuring 7.89mm in thickness and weighing 185g.
The camera setup includes a 64-megapixel main sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera with a 112 degree field of view, and a 32-megapixel selfie camera with an ƒ/2.4 aperture. Connectivity options include Bluetooth 5.3/LE, Wi-Fi 6, dual nano SIM slots, NFC, 5G, and support for an IR remote. The Oppo Reno 10 5G runs on ColorOS 13.1 based on Android 13, with promised updates for up to four years.
