Moto G54 5G: A Lower Mid-Range Smartphone in the Works

Motorola is preparing to release its latest smartphone, the Moto G54 5G. Following in the footsteps of its predecessor, the G53 5G, the G54 5G is expected to be a lower mid-range model. Recently, it was spotted on the FCC database, and now it has made an appearance on the TDRA website.

The TDRA certification paves the way for a future launch of the Moto G54 5G in the UAE. While the certification does not provide specific details about the device’s specifications, earlier leaks from earlier this month shed some light on what we can expect.

According to the rumors, the Moto G54 5G will feature a 6.5-inch FHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The back panel will house a square-shaped camera module, and the power button on the right side of the phone will also function as a fingerprint scanner. The main camera is rumored to be a 50MP lens with optical image stabilization, while the details of the secondary sensor remain unknown. For selfies, the device is expected to have a 16MP front-facing camera.

Under the hood, the Moto G54 5G is likely to come equipped with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage, expandable up to 1TB via a microSD card slot. It will be powered by a 5,000mAh battery with support for fast charging (the exact speed has not been disclosed). The smartphone will boast stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos and Moto Spatial Sound support. It is expected to run on Android 13 out of the box and will be available in Ambrosia, Ballad Blue, Coronet Blue, and Outer Space color options.

As we await further official announcements, the Moto G54 5G is shaping up to be an intriguing addition to Motorola’s smartphone lineup, offering reliable performance and notable features at a mid-range price point.
