Government Announces Transfers and Postings of High-Ranking Officers

The federal government has issued notifications regarding the transfers and postings of secretaries and high-ranking officers in various ministries and departments. The Establishment Division has notified the following changes:

Kamran Ali Afzal, a BS-22 officer of Pakistan Administrative Service, has been transferred from his position as Director General, Civil Services Academy in Lahore and appointed as Secretary, Cabinet Division.

Sajid Baloch, a BS-21 officer of Pakistan Administrative Service, has been transferred from the Additional Secretary position in the Cabinet Division to the post of Special Secretary, Cabinet Division.

Muhammad Abdullah Khan Sumbal, a BS-21 officer of Pakistan Administrative Service, has been transferred from the Additional Secretary (in charge) position in the Science and Technology Division to the same position in the Interior Division.

Hasan Nasir Jamy, a BS-22 officer of Pakistan Administrative Service, has been transferred from his position as Secretary of the Water Resources Division and appointed as Secretary of the Information Technology and Telecommunication Division.

Momin Agha, a BS-21 officer of Pakistan Administrative Service, has been transferred from the Additional Secretary (in charge) position in the Industries and Production Division to the same position in the Petroleum Division.

Captain (Retd.) Muhammad Mahmood, a BS-21 officer of Pakistan Administrative Service, has been transferred from the Additional Secretary (in charge) position in the Petroleum Division to the same position in the National Food Security and Research Division.

Dr. Shahzad Khan Bangash, a BS-22 officer of Pakistan Administrative Service, has been transferred from his position as OSD in the Establishment Division and appointed as Secretary of the Housing and Works Division.

Syed Asif Hyder Shah, a BS-22 officer of Pakistan Administrative Service, has been transferred from his position as OSD in the Establishment Division and appointed as Secretary of the Climate Change Division.

Allah Dino Khawaja, a BS-22 officer of the Police Service of Pakistan, has been transferred from his position as Commandant of the National Police Academy to become the Secretary of the Human Rights Division.

Humaira Ahmad, a BS-22 officer of Pakistan Administrative Service, who was awaiting posting in the Establishment Division, has been appointed as Secretary of the National Heritage and Culture Division.

Syed Ali Murtaza, a BS-22 officer of Pakistan Administrative Service, has been transferred from his position as Secretary of the Interior Division to become the Secretary of the Water Resources Division.

Dr. Muhammad Fakhre Alam Irfan, a BS-22 officer of Pakistan Administrative Service, has been transferred from his position as Secretary of the Housing and Works Division and appointed as the Chief Secretary of the Government of Sindh.

Dawood Muhammad Bareach, a BS-21 officer of Pakistan Administrative Service, has been transferred from the Additional Secretary position in the Planning, Development, and Special Initiatives Division, and his services have been placed at the disposal of the Azad Government of the State of Jammu and Kashmir for further posting as the Chief Secretary.

Shakeel Qadir Khan, a BS-21 officer of Pakistan Administrative Service, has been transferred from the Additional Secretary position in the Power Division and appointed as the Chief Secretary of the Government of Balochistan.

Captain (Retd.) Muhammad Anwar ul Haq, a BS-20 (Acting Charge) officer of Pakistan Administrative Service, who was at the disposal of the Capital Development Authority, has been transferred and appointed as the Chief Commissioner of Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT).

Ali Raza Bhutta, a BS-22 officer of Pakistan Administrative Service, has been transferred from his position as Secretary of the Human Rights Division and appointed as Secretary of the Science and Technology Division.

Ms. Sarah Saeed, a BS-22 officer of the Pakistan Administrative Service, has been transferred from her position as Special Secretary in the Prime Minister’s Office and appointed as Special Secretary in the Commerce Division.

Eazaz Aslam Dar, a BS-22 officer of Pakistan Administrative Service, has been transferred from his position as Special Secretary in the Cabinet Division and directed to report to the Establishment Division.

Navid Ahmed Shaikh, a BS-22 officer of Pakistan Administrative Service, has been transferred from his position as Secretary of the Information Technology and Telecommunication Division and directed to report to the Establishment Division.

Musaddiq Ahmed Khan, a BS-21 officer of Pakistan Administrative Service, has been transferred from his position as Additional Secretary (in charge) in the Climate Change Division and directed to report to the Establishment Division.

Dr. Muhammad Sohail Rajput, a BS-22 officer of Pakistan Administrative Service, has been transferred from his position as the Chief Secretary of the Government of Sindh and directed to report to the Establishment Division.

Muhammad Usman Chachar, a BS-22 officer of Pakistan Administrative Service, has been transferred from his position as Chief Secretary of the Azad Government of the State of Jammu and Kashmir and directed to report to the Establishment Division.

Abdul Aziz Uqaili, a BS-22 officer of Pakistan Administrative Service, has been transferred from his position as Chief Secretary of the Government of Balochistan and directed to report to the Establishment Division.

Yawar Hussain, a BS-20 officer of Pakistan Administrative Service, who was serving as the Director General of Immigration and Passports, has been transferred and directed to report to the Establishment Division.

Captain (Retd.) Noor-ul-Amin Mengal, a BS-21 officer of Pakistan Administrative Service, who was serving as the Chief Commissioner of Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT), has been transferred and directed to report to the Establishment Division.

Mustafa Kamal Kazi, a BS-20 officer of the Ex-PCS, Government of Sindh, who was serving as a Joint Secretary in the National Health Services, Regulations & Coordination department, has been transferred and posted as the Director General of Immigration and Passports in Islamabad on a deputation basis.

Dr. Iram Anjum Khan, a BS-22 officer of Pakistan Audit and Accounts Service (PA&AS), who was serving as the Additional Auditor General-1 in the Office of the Auditor General of Pakistan, has been transferred and appointed as Secretary of the Maritime Affairs Division.

Ms. Fareena Mazhar, a BS-22 officer of the Inland Revenue Service (IRS), who was serving as the Secretary of the National Heritage and Culture Division, has been directed to report to the Establishment Division.

Abdul Ghufran Memon, a BS-22 officer of Pakistan Audit and Accounts Service (PA&AS), who was serving as the Secretary of the Maritime Affairs Division, has also been directed to report to the Establishment Division.
