The Hebrides.net web portal is so called the gateway to the Connected Communities. This is a project (c/c Scotnet) - a broadband network for businesses’ and residential customers’ needs. The Network is a project that is led by Highlands & Islands Enterprise. It’s 1 of the first and the biggest in the UK to incorporate the recently licensed 5.8GHz radio frequency bands.Connected Communities Broadband is an innovative project of Hebrides.net with a goal to deliver broadband services to rural communities throughout the Western Isles.

The Hebrides.net gives you the offer of high speed broadband with download and upload speeds of up to 1024 Kbps. Contention is set to 50:1. Monthly transfer limit is 30GB. There is no web space allocation with IP addressing (dynamic). You get 10 POP3. Service availability is subject to survey.
