Description
China Mobile Ltd. offers TD-SCDMA as 1 of the 3rd generation MC standard. This technology has introduced Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA) which is used in mobile communication systems. TD-SCDMA network has 4 elements: base station, radio network controller, mobile switching center (MSC)a plus SGSN. There is a possibility to use 15MHz in 2GHz band as well as 40MHz spectrum in 1.9GHz band for TD-SCDMA system in the mainland of China. TD-SCDMA network can deliver upload speed of 0.56 Mbps and download speed of 1.68 Mbps (single user).
