Avanti Communications is located in the UK. It's main aim is to sell satellite data communications services to telecoms companies. Their headquarters are located in London, and (top) operations in Cornwall, Cyprus, Germany and the USA. Avanti's first satellite was called HYLAS 1 (2010). It was the first Ka-band satellite introduced in Europe. Avanti's second satellite, called HYLAS 2, was launched in August 2012 and extends Avanti's coverage to Africa, the Caucasus and the Middle East.

Avanti’s SELECT gives its clients equipment and realy fast, affordable broadband that can reach even those customers that live beyond the terrestrial network. This service is scalable. SELECT deals meets the requirements of many broadband hungry customers across EMEA. The speeds can be from 15Mbps/2.5Mbps to 500kbps/128kbps. They are extremely reliable and based on Avanti’s fully resilient and redundant fibre network. This service is integrated with Avanti’s unique operational support system to provide point and click network and terminal control and much more.
