China Telecom offers EVPLAN (Ethernet Virtual Private LAN) to all business clients across the country. This service is provided by VPLS ( layer-2 technology). High capacity bandwidth can range from 1 Mb/s up to 1 Gb/s and you can receive 5 Classes of this service (Diamond and Platinum, Gold and Silver plus Bronze). EVPLAN delivers high quality data transmission and it can on the other hand create star topologies. The EVPLAN is designed in the way to be independent of Layer 3 protocol. It can supports interconnection of LANs across WANs in big cities of China. This bandwidth starts from 1 Mb/s to 1 Gb/s.
