internet in Tulipanes del Castillo, near Jamundi My wife, who is a Colombian citizen, has purchased a new-build property at Tulipanes del Castillo, which is about 4 km east of Jamundi. Can you tell me what is the availability of internet services at that location please (providers, method of accessing the service [mobile phone, cable, etc])? For comparison, here in the city where we live in the UK, we now have full-fibre internet (we are on the 900/900 Mb/s provided by Zen Internet) and this reaches us via a fibre optical cable>Optical Network Terminal>Cat 7e Ethernet cable>Wi-Fi 6 (ax) router, but I currently have no knowledge as to how interent services are provided in the Valle del Cauca. |

Video over satalite I am looking for the best solution to provide access to video calls over skype or another service from Sieera Leone. I understand that I need 500kbs or over to get reasonable quality. I would want to be confident that 95% of the time I could achieve a reasonable phone sygnal. Should I get a 5:1 or 10:1 signal at a higher rate or a 1:1 at 512kbs? Which is most likely to providethe 95% confidence I need most cost effectively? I would rather like have a portable/semi portable soultion that I could use in different remote locations powered by a mobile gererator. However I do not know if the portable solution will cost much more than a non transportable one that I couldset up in the compound. Could you recommend a couple of solutions that might make sense for my needs? How much would they cost initially and ongoing monthly |
Tal Talk Mail Plus To receive e-mails after 10th October 2019 I need to subscribe to the subject heading. As I do not use internet banking I understand that I can pay fifty pounds subscription for a year by sending a cheque made out to Talk Talk Telecom Ltd and that I should insert my landline telephone number on the reverse of the cheque and send it Could you please confirm that is correct? |
