My husband is currently in ICU at Cork University Hospital having undergone removal of his right lung as a result of cancer. He developed sepsis and will be hospitalized for a few more weeks. His phone is not working properly and I I changed Tesco Mobile plans on 25 june from €30 to €40 to ensure that he could make and receive calls prior to his remittance to ICU. I rang customer service to enquire if I could get either an upgrade or replacement phone for him as all his family are overseas. I was told that I would have to wait until June of next year to do do. I am extremely disappointed as I have been a customer for several years and both our phones are with your company. These are exceptional circumstances and I would have hoped that at least a replacement would be offered during this incredibly difficult time for him, me and his family. I would have thought that as a gesture for being loyal customers something could be done. I do not have access to his phone at the moment but it won't Last much longer. We are hoping that he will be out of ICU by the weekend and it is essential that he has a working phone. I would really appreciate it if someone could get back to me as a matter of urgency.
