Tejas Networks Reveals Master Contract with Tata Consultancy Services

Tejas Networks Limited has announced the completion of a Master Contract with Tata Consultancy Services Limited for the provision, assistance, and upkeep services for its radio access network (RAN) equipment. This contract is part of the deployment of Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited’s (BSNL) nationwide 4G/5G network.

As part of the agreement, Tejas Networks has received a purchase order from TCS worth 0 million (€826.56 million) to supply its latest 4G/5G RAN equipment for approximately 100,000 sites. The execution of this order will take place in 2023 and 2024.

Tejas Networks secured this contract after participating in extensive trials as part of a consortium led by TCS. The CEO and managing director of Tejas Networks, Anand Athreya, expressed their delight in being selected as the sole supplier of 4G/5G RAN equipment for one of the largest mobile networks in the world. He highlighted that their cutting-edge portfolio will enable BSNL to roll out a scalable and cost-effective network.

Arnob Roy, COO and executive director of Tejas Networks, also expressed pride in being part of the TCS consortium and emphasized their commitment to providing a best-in-class service experience for BSNL subscribers.
