SpaceX Reschedules Starlink 6-10 Mission Launch

SpaceX has announced the rescheduling of its Falcon 9 Starlink mission launch from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station. The launch, originally planned for Wednesday night, has been rescheduled for Friday, August 25. The new launch window is set from 9:13 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. EDT. The reason for the rescheduling has not been confirmed by the company.

Meanwhile, preparations are underway at the nearby Kennedy Space Center for the launch of NASA’s Crew-7 mission. This mission is expected to take place on Friday, August 25, with liftoff scheduled for 3:49 a.m.

Earlier this week, SpaceX successfully launched 21 Starlink satellites from Vandenberg Space Force Base in California.

The rescheduled Falcon 9 Starlink mission launch from Cape Canaveral now marks the 43rd launch of the year for the Space Coast, if the new schedule holds. The launch is planned during a four-hour window starting at 8:47 p.m. EDT and ending at 12:46 a.m. EDT.

Weather conditions for the launch are predicted to be favorable, with a 75% chance of “go” conditions according to Space Force forecasters.
