Partnership with Google Delivers New, Low-Cost 5G Tablet

T-Mobile has expanded its range of affordable 5G devices with the addition of a 5G Android tablet, developed in collaboration with Google.

Earlier this year, Deutsche Telekom, T-Mobile’s parent company, launched smartphones under its own brand for the first time with the T Phone and T Phone Pro. The T Tablet is now the telco’s first Android tablet, increasing their range of offerings.

The T Tablet has been launched in ten markets including Austria, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Germany, Hungary, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Poland, Slovakia, and the United States. In the US, it is branded as Revvl.

With the tablet’s launch, customers can get it for one euro when purchased with a Magenta Mobile or data plan. Without a data plan, the T Tablet is priced at €219 in the German market. In the US, T-Mobile customers who subscribe to the Go5G Plus plan can enjoy additional benefits such as “Netflix on Us,” free in-flight Wi-Fi, free international high-speed data, and “T-Mobile Tuesdays.”

The T Tablet features a 10.4-inch screen, Dual SIM capability, an 8-megapixel front-facing camera, and the option to expand the internal storage from 128GB to 2TB using a micro-SD card. Additionally, it comes with 100 GB of free Google One cloud storage for three months.

Deutsche Telekom’s goal is to make the 5G network accessible to a wider audience at an affordable price. The company is also committed to driving digitization in the education sector and aims to play an active role in shaping the future of connected life.

In addition to the T Tablet, T-Mobile has also updated its T Phone range. The refreshed T Phones include more ROM memory, NFC capabilities, an updated front camera, and the Android 13 operating system. These devices will be available starting August 24.

T-Mobile’s expansion of its affordable 5G devices reinforces its mission of digital inclusion and expanding access to 5G technology. By providing affordable devices, the company aims to ensure that more people can take advantage of the benefits of a connected and digitally advanced world.
