EUTELSAT 65 West A Satellite: A Partnership with AVS to Deploy Public Channels

AVS, a leading Brazilian service provider and integrator, has recently signed multiple contracts with Eutelsat Communications for capacity on its EUTELSAT 65 West A satellite. Through this partnership, AVS is able to deploy public channels, including TV ALEPR, TV ALESC, TV ALEPE, and TV ALBA, on the satellite.

This collaboration is particularly significant as it helps AVS avoid interference caused by the ongoing activation of 5G in Brazil. The country is currently implementing 5G in the 3.5 GHz band, which is also being used to support satellite TV services in the C-band. By utilizing EUTELSAT 65 West A, AVS can ensure uninterrupted transmission of its public channels while minimizing potential interference.

The planned C-band of the EUTELSAT 65 West A satellite operates within a frequency range of 4.5GHz to 4.8GHz, with a single frequency band. This band operates at a frequency 800MHz above the 5G deployment in Brazil, allowing AVS to effectively overcome any interference and maintain reliable broadcasting.

EUTELSAT 65 West A is a state-of-the-art satellite that provides extensive coverage over the Americas, including Brazil. It offers high-performance capabilities, supporting a wide range of broadcasting and communication services. With AVS’s partnership and utilization of this satellite, the delivery of public channels to viewers across Brazil is optimized.

This collaboration between AVS and Eutelsat Communications demonstrates their commitment to delivering quality broadcasting services in Brazil. By leveraging the capacity of the EUTELSAT 65 West A satellite, AVS ensures uninterrupted transmission of public channels to the viewers, even amidst the ongoing 5G implementation.
